Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 07:00 – 19:30
Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds. Move, position, and manipulate radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely. Perform direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patients, and using proper infection control techniques.
Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks. Notify appropriate personnel when inventory is low. Cross‑train into advanced modalities as needed. Follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance, and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff. Perform radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high‑quality images that meet department standards.
Position patients and equipment, selecting technical factors to produce radiographic images safely and in a timely manner. Perform imaging with correct patient demographic and examination information. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. Assist patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort, safety, and privacy, in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Associate, Bachelor’s, High School Grad or Equivalently (Required). Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS). RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy;
Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT); EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Radiology Technologist – Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (L.R.T.); EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiation Technology – IEMA (MRT-IEMA); EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT); EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Technologist – Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)); EV Accredited Issuing Body, State Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT);

$20.80 - $38.67 per hour
