Community You’ll Be Caring ForAdvent Health Heart of Florida is a licensed 193‑bed acute care hospital with outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab and wound care. Serving the community for over 50 years, patients have access to innovative therapies, new research, leading‑edge technology and an extensive team of medical specialists. Recognized by the Joint Commission, the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association. Located in Davenport, FL, near Busch Gardens, Legoland and Walt Disney World.
The Role You’ll ContributeThe Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care to identified age‑specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) to achieve department goals. Adheres to the Advent Health Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state and federal regulations. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships.
The Value You’ll Bring to the Team- Completes timely assessments per practice guidelines across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and life‑style factors, including signs of abuse or neglect.
- Sets measurable short‑ and long‑term goals based on assessment and diagnosis, assisting in individualized care planning.
- Assesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non‑invasive monitoring data and interdisciplinary team notes.
- Records and accesses all patient information in the electronic medical record in real time per policy.
- Abides by the American Nurses Association Scope, Standards, and Code of Ethics; participates in practice changes, process improvement initiatives and completes required education on time.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current valid State of Florida or multi‑state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
