Express Employment Professionals is assisting a client who is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This position is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, supporting payment activities, and ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping in a fast-paced accounting environment.

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, verify coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice status, account balances, and payment issues.

• Previous accounts payable or accounting support experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately process a high volume of invoices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
