Service Technician Duties:

• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Perform work specified on the repair order with effort and efficiency in accordance with the dealership’s standards
• Test‑drive vehicles, test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is required, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements

• One year as an automotive technician preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
