Job Summary:

Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club.

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Member service oversight ensuring all team members provide great customer service.
• High involvement in front desk tasks: greeting, welcoming, tours, service issues.
• Provide support for team members and club members.
• Create and maintain a positive image.
• Coaching and counseling performance to achieve company standards.
• Ensure prompt opening/closing of gym.
• Ensure staff aware and trained on marketing promotions.
• Finish manager portion of onboarding in Paycom for new hires.
• Ensure club open and staffed all hours.
• Ensure self and team members implement and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory.
• Customer Service: communicate and interact with customers exceeding expectations.
• Listening: actively listen, empathize, and solve problems.
• Problem Solving: recognize and define problems; analyze info; encourage alternative solutions.
• Diplomacy: demonstrate tact and skill in interactions.
• Communication: timely and effective communication with staff, supervisors, and departments.

• Honesty and good work ethic.
• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
