This regional medical center serves as a cornerstone of healthcare in the Quad Cities region. The facility features a busy labor and delivery unit that manages approximately 80 deliveries monthly and serves as a regional referral resource for gynecological patients. The center is known for its collaborative approach to care, working closely with community health clinics and midwives.

Opportunity: Board Certified-OB/GYN

This is a full-time OB/GYN Laborist physician position joining an established team providing comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecological care. The role offers a unique partnership alongside community health clinics and midwives in a supportive environment.

Job Details:

• Provide hospital support for OB/GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting
• Deliver collaborative care alongside a community health care partner (FQHC) and midwives
• Manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly in a high-volume, supportive environment
• Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery, OB/GYN triage, and ER calls as needed
• Serve as regional referral resource for GYN patients
• Perform daily rounding on post-operative and post-partum patients
• Participate in a collaborative care model enhancing patient safety and community health
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including anesthesia, NICU, and midwives
• No separate "doc call" expected; full-time dedicated hospitalist role
• Support and enhance hospital protocols during the launch of 24-hour in-house coverage in April 2025
• H1B/J1 visa support available for full-time positions

• Iowa license required (or willingness to obtain)
