Job DescriptionScott County Catholic Schools is seeking a part-time Library Media Aide
who enjoys working with students, loves books and learning, and takes pride in creating an organized and welcoming environment.
The Library Media Associate plays an important role in supporting students and teachers by maintaining the school library, helping students discover books and digital resources, and ensuring textbooks and instructional materials are available and organized. This position reports to the Principal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize the library collection and library environment.
- Help students find books, online databases, and other appropriate resources.
- Order, receive, and maintain library materials, textbooks, and instructional supplies.
- Manage donated, overdue, and damaged library materials.
- Coordinate and organize the school book fair.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support students.
- Assist with student supervision during lunch, recess, study hall, or other areas as needed.

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, welcoming, and comfortable working with students and staff. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are important. Candidates should demonstrate a knowledge and appreciation of Catholic faith life, and a Catholic in good standing is preferred.
