How You Will ContributeThis position oversees project design from inception to completion, including design, permits, as‑builts, and operations & maintenance manuals. You will develop comprehensive design plans to meet schedules and budgets, participate in team and on‑site progress meetings, and ensure that all published codes, standards, and project specifications are followed. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with strict adherence to deadlines in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
WhatYou Need To Qualify
Ahern seeks 5‑7 years of experience designing fire alarms, special hazard suppression, and pre‑engineered systems, or related experience. Prior use of AutoCAD is required; experience with Revit or BIM modeling is strongly preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of low‑voltage wiring, conventional and/or addressable fire alarm panels, and special hazard fire suppression systems. Commitment to exceptional customer service, up‑to‑date industry knowledge, and meticulous pre‑planning is essential.
NICET certification and Revit/BIM experience are preferred.
