We design intelligent electrical safety and predictive maintenance solutions trusted by global data centers, utilities, and industrial facilities. The Critical Power and Facilities Sales Engineer will lead technical sales efforts to integrate Grace Sense™ IIoT, Chek Volt™, and Low Voltage HSM technologies into data center infrastructure—PDUs, switch gear, and MCCs—across hyperscalers, colocation providers, and OEMs.
ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Market Development
- Develop and execute strategies to specify Grace products across major data center operators (e.g., Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Google, and leading colos).
- Build deep relationships with specifying engineers, EPCs, OEMs, and key integrators.
- Lead customer discovery, technical demos, and ROI presentations to drive adoption of Grace’s monitoring and safety platforms.
- Provide feedback from the field to product management to shape the roadmap for data center applications.
- Serve as the primary technical expert supporting sales for electrical safety and condition-based monitoring solutions.
- Translate technical requirements into practical system configurations and proposals.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, application drawings, and integration specifications.
- Support development of reference architectures for PDUs, RPPs, and switch gear.
- Collaborate with channel partners, distributors, and rep firms to drive project specifications and close opportunities.
- Support training, onboarding, and joint customer calls with system integrators and OEM partners.
- Participate in trade shows, Automation Fair, and industry events focused on data centers and industrial electrification.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align on GTM strategy and launch new solutions.
- Provide market intelligence on trends, competitors, and technology shifts in data center electrification and monitoring.
- Track all opportunities, activities, and contacts in Hub Spot with accuracy and discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–8 years in a technical sales, application engineering, or field engineering role within data centers, power distribution, or industrial automation.
- Deep understanding of switch gear, PDUs, MCCs, and related electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E/70B, UL, NEC).
- Experience working with hyperscale or colocation data centers preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to bridge engineering and business discussions.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
- Specification wins at key data center customers and OEMs.
- Pipeline growth and revenue generation from data center vertical.
- Technical responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Contribution to new product validation and launch success.
