Job SummaryThis role will serve in Reliability Excellence Systems across multiple Rolling Mills and Extrusion Plants, based in Davenport, IA. Responsibilities- Drive, coach, and implement Reliability Excellence systems across multiple Rolling Mills and Extrusion Plants.
- Develop and coach the implementation of Equipment Reliability system components such as Defect Elimination, Criticality Analysis, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance, CMMS, Condition‑based Monitoring and Reliability‑Centered Maintenance.
- Drive the culture and ownership of Reliability across the enterprise.
- Identify and report opportunities for improvement in OEE and productivity to Business Units.
- Leverage resources within Manufacturing Technology and Engineering, and other functions (IT, Finance) to drive effective and sustainable change in Equipment Reliability.
- Major customers include Business Unit, Operation and Maintenance Managers in Rolled Products and Extrusions.
- May require up to 50% travel.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Equipment Reliability, Maintenance, or Engineering.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility required at hire; visa sponsorship not available.
- Position requires access to controlled technology as defined by Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730) and/or ITAR. Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required for export control compliance.
- Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, and Equipment Asset Hierarchies.
- Leadership and facilitation of multi‑disciplinary improvement teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Data analysis, visualization, and reporting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership, team building, and facilitation skills.
