Our community bank client seeks a Personal Banker in Davenport, IA. The successful candidate will handle customer service functions while maintaining positive relationships with coworkers and clients.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to $20/hr, plus incentives and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage customer bank accounts, including opening, closing, and overseeing transactions
• Resolve issues related to banking services and accounts
• Answer customer inquiries via phone regarding deposits and loans
• Perform account maintenance and assist customers with banking product changes
• Follow bank operating procedures
• Assist with detailed reporting as assigned
• Escalate issues to supervisors when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills and experience required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of customer service experience or similar
• Experience in loan sales, applications, and closing at a financial institution
• Understanding of credit reports, loan stipulations, scheduling, and processing loan documents
• Ability to sell ancillary insurance products
• Strong relationship-building skills within banking environments
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
