Job Overview
Position Title: Coord, Training Center
Department: CTC Community Training Center
Purpose: To coordinate and provide educational programs for Genesis Health System and the general community. Key accountabilities include coordinating programs by following American Heart Association (AHA) and other regulatory guidelines, managing compliance of participant records, managing instructors, and supervising all training center operations. Additional duties as assigned.
Report To: Director
Supervisory Responsibility: No supervision; the job does not require the provision of guidance or supervision to others.
Materials Responsibility: Limited; work requires limited responsibility for material resources (supplies, equipment, inventories, small budgets). The employee has a limited amount of control over these resources.
Key Relationships: Co‑workers/Health System Employees, General Public/Visitors/Volunteers, Physicians/Medical Office Staff, Vendors/Clients.
Physical Demands and Working ConditionsPhysical Demands: High intensity work requiring heavy physical exertion and effort, including lifting 25–50 pounds. Physical stamina and endurance are essential; fatigue and periods of rest are common. Manual dexterity and spatial coordination are required. These high‑intensity demands occur 10–35% of the time.
Working Conditions: Little or no adverse environmental conditions.
Possible Exposure to Blood Borne Pathogens: None.

2‑year college program or equivalent experience. - Field of Study:
Health Care Studies. - Special Training:
Basic Life Support Instructor and ACLS Instructor; PALS Instructor within 6 months of hire; strong computer skills/working knowledge of Office 2007. - Preferred Training:
Health Stream/LMS Experience. - Experience:
More than 3 years required. - Interpersonal
Skills:
Interaction with a variety of people inside or outside the organization. Communications of moderate difficulty and sensitivity. Requires a moderate amount of interpersonal skills and the ability to handle moderately complicated problem situations or stressful encounters.
