• Oversee daily operations of the production line, ensuring schedules are adhered to and quality standards are met
• Coordinate and supervise all production activities, including planning, organizing, and controlling production schedules
• Monitor performance of production lines, analyze production data, and implement improvements as necessary
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on all control points, equipment, and resources
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the production team, fostering teamwork and collaboration
• Handle labor relations in a union setting, including conflict resolution, negotiations, and employee grievances
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes
• Participate in budget development and cost tracking activities

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a production environment
• Experience in a union setting is a plus
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of products
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage a diverse team
• Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to think strategically and plan for the future
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding and commitment to health and safety regulations in a production environment
• Must be able to work multiple shifts
