Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Core Dermatology

Core Dermatology is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our patient-first focused team. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Base pay range: $26.00/hr - $37.00/hr.

Position Overview: Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse will play an integral part of our health care team, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our dermatology patients.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in various clinical duties, including patient assessments, charting, and assisting the dermatologist during procedures.
• Assess and prioritize patient needs, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to inquiries and concerns.
• Deliver high-quality care to dermatology patients, maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.
• Assist in dermatological procedures, demonstrating proficiency and adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide patient education on dermatological conditions, treatments, and post-procedure care.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in the state of Iowa.
• Dermatology experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with medical professionals.

Salary Information:
This is a Non-Exempt position. Pay will be based on years of experience per licensure date. The budgeted hourly pay range is $26.00-$36.88.
