Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

West Des Moines, IA | Acute Care

Contract (6 Months) | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Rotation

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Triage and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotation

• Previous Emergency Room nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with high-acuity and trauma patients
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
