Are you a relationship‑builder with a technical edge? In this role, you’ll own a territory, grow revenue, and be the face of Grace Technologies with customers, distributors, and manufacturer’s reps. You’ll balance strategy with action—traveling to build trust “in person” while using modern sales tools to keep your pipeline strong and moving.
SummaryThe Area Sales Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and executing sales initiatives within an assigned territory by fostering new customer relationships and expanding existing ones. This role combines strategic oversight of manufacturer’s representatives and distributors with hands‑on business development to drive revenue growth and pipeline performance. The Area Sales Manager will utilize CRM systems, outreach tools, and product expertise to engage customers, engineer solutions, and promote Grace Technologies’ product lines.

- Oversee and support manufacturer’s representatives and distributors throughout the assigned territory.
- Appoint and manage new channel partners where appropriate.
- Travel (~50%) to conduct in‑person meetings with customers, distributors, and reps.
- Use CRM (Hub Spot), outbound calling, email, and Linked In Sales Navigator for proactive pipeline development.
- Develop and execute outbound lead generation using CRM, email campaigns, and Linked In Sales Navigator.
- Schedule and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and application engineering sessions in‑person and via web conferencing.
- Own opportunities and action items across the sales pipeline while coordinating with internal teams, representatives, and distributors.
- Conduct product and sales training sessions for manufacturer’s representatives and distributors.
- Travel through assigned sales territory to visit customers, partners, and support trade shows (25–50% travel).
- Attend and represent Grace Technologies at assigned trade shows and events, including Rockwell Automation Fair.
- Engage with customers to assess needs, propose solutions, and resolve sales or technical issues.
- Use Hub Spot CRM to track sales activity, identify key accounts and contacts, and manage pipeline visibility.
- Coordinate pricing structures, discounts, and customer quotes in collaboration with leadership and customer support teams.
- Experiment and innovate with new strategies to drive engagement and pipeline growth.

Knowledge and Skills- Strong understanding of industrial/electrical terminology and product applications.

- Experience using CRM and ERP systems;
