Part Time Unarmed Security Officer; Guard

Overview

Beginning in 1977, IPSC offered security officer patrol services, and has since expanded to offer a number of security-related services. IPSC offers armed and unarmed security guard services, patrol services, residential and commercial electronic security, fire protection and emergency response services. • Help to prevent and deter crime through regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Report security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences
• When necessary, perform control procedures
• Operate emergency equipment
• Document nightly operations and file weekly reports
• Investigate breaches of property

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Sound communication skills
• Professional presentation
• Ability to work as a team member and solo
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible roster, 7 days a week
• Reliable transport
• Active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Prior law enforcement experience, military experience, or 2 years of unarmed security is a plus

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and be able to communicate clearly and quickly in emergencies
• Must be able to read and interpret written information
• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle if required
• Must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to emergencies
• Must be able to walk, run, stand, climb, sit
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs (waist high) if required
• Must be in good mental health and able to make quick decisions in emergencies
• Must meet physical and mental requirements to be licensed as a Security Officer in the applicable state (Armed or Unarmed)
