Controls Technician

We are seeking a Controls Technician for a growing manufacturing and automation environment. This hands-on role is responsible for building, installing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and automated control systems.

This is a fully onsite position. Candidates must be located in the Quad Cities area or be willing to relocate. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. Applicants who are unable to meet these requirements will not be considered.

• Assemble, wire, and test control panels and automation equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems.
• Support equipment installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Travel to customer sites for equipment installation and service as needed.

• Technical degree, certification, or equivalent experience in electrical controls, automation, or a related field.
• Experience with industrial controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, VFDs, HMIs, and automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
