SCHEDULE: Looking for mornings/day shifts

PAY RATE: $20.00/hr

The Person al Trainer provides an enjoyable, high quality and safe exercise prescription to YMCA members and program participants.

• Conduct fitness assessments to understand members' current fitness levels.
• Adaptability to tailor training programs for various fitness levels and preferences.
• Provide clear and concise instructions on exercise techniques. Demonstrate proper form and posture to minimize the risk of injury.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about fitness and helping others reach their goals.
• Patience and empathy to understand clients' individual challenges.
• Must obtain or posses a Personal Training Certification through nationally recognized organization (AFAA, ACE, NSCA, NASM, or ACSM Personal Training certification(s) .

We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility and adheres to our mission. This position is expected to be able to successfully perform all physical activities necessary to perform essential and related functions of the job including, ability to frequently lift a minimum of 45 pounds efficiently and safely. Personal Training and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications are required prior to hire and/or prior to peforming Personal Trainer duties.
