Personal Trainer - Utica Ridge YMCA

Position Summary

Personal Trainer – Utica Ridge YMCA at YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley.

Varies depending on appointments. Must be flexible to work week nights and weekends.

$25.00/hr.

• Conduct fitness assessments to understand members' current fitness levels.
• Adapt training programs for various fitness levels and preferences.
• Provide clear and concise instructions on exercise techniques and demonstrate proper form and posture to minimize the risk of injury.
• Communicate effectively and build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Show passion for fitness and help others reach their goals.
• Exhibit patience and empathy to understand clients' individual challenges.

• Personal Training certification through a nationally recognized organization (AFAA, ACE, NSCA, NASM, or ACSM).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required prior to hire and prior to performing Personal Trainer duties.
• Ability to safely lift a minimum of 45 pounds.
