Transport Driver – Part-Time

Unisource Worldwide, Inc. (GTG Peterbilt) – a family‑owned full service Peterbilt truck dealership serving eastern Iowa since 1973.

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Part‑time Transport Driver with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) who wants to work 2‑3 days per week to join our team.

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries and pickups.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues or defects to management.
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including hours of service, mileage, and expenses.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring all required equipment is in good working order.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety and compliance guidelines.

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Must be insurable through company insurance.
• Must pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screen.
