Part-time Accounts Assistant

Part-time Accounts Assistant, 25 hrs per week, bookkeeping, Daventry, to £30,000 FTE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our established client's Internal accounts team based in both their Daventry and Blisworth offices.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Bookkeeping and accounting and using various accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books and Sage. This is a part time position of 25 hours per week.

As the Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:

• Sales invoicing – Raise and process all sales invoices. This includes recurring invoices and ad-hoc invoices.
• Purchase Ledger – Verify purchase invoices and receipts, reconcile against supplier statement & prepare payment schedules, where applicable.
• Bank – Maintain an up-to-date cash book for all accounts and reconcile against the bank statement monthly.
• Expenses – Process employee claims and arrange re-imbursements.
• Credit control – Ensuring all outstanding accounts are chased appropriately.

We are looking for previous experience covering the areas below:

• Accounts preparation and bookkeeping
• Software such as Xero, Quick Books, Sage. (not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
