North East / Yorkshire (Hybrid working available) An established and expanding accountancy practice is looking to appoint a Part-Qualified Audit Senior to join its growing audit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone working towards their ACA or ACCA qualification who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive firm.

You'll work with a varied portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for audit assignments while gaining exposure to a wide range of industries. The role also offers the chance to support junior team members and continue building your technical and client-facing experience.

The Role Take responsibility for audit assignments from planning through to completion, working both independently and as part of a wider team. Visit client sites across the North East and Yorkshire to carry out audit work. Develop strong working relationships with clients, providing professional support throughout the audit process. Assist with supervising and reviewing the work of junior colleagues, offering guidance where required.

Work closely with managers and senior staff to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and contribute ideas to enhance audit delivery. Make effective use of modern accounting and audit software to deliver accurate and efficient work. About You Currently studying towards the ACA or ACCA qualification. A minimum of two years' experience within an external audit role in practice.

Experience working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses. Confident managing workloads and meeting deadlines across multiple assignments. Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive client relationships. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and audit software. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop. Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to client locations.

Desirable Experience Exposure to a variety of accounting packages and cloud-based software. Experience working with clients in sectors such as charities, education or professional services.
