Audit Senior Portsmouth £35,000 - £50,000 An established and fast-growing Top 10 accountancy and business advisory firm is looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior to join its expanding Audit & Assurance team in the South region. Your role as an Audit Senior:
As an Audit Senior, you will take responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with Managers and Partners while supporting and mentoring junior team members. Leading on-site audit fieldwork and substantive testing. Planning and completing audit assignments. Preparing statutory financial statements from client records. Identifying risk areas and reporting findings to Managers and Partners. Reviewing audit files to ensure high-quality documentation.

Supporting and mentoring trainees and junior staff. Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact. Assisting with the finalisation of audits for Partner review. What you'll need to succeed: ACA or ACCA qualification (or a finalist). Previous experience working within an accountancy practice audit role. Strong knowledge of audit and accounting standards. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
