Are you a passionate Maths Teacher who enjoys helping students build confidence and success in Maths? Do you believe excellent Maths teaching helps students develop resilience, logical thinking, and valuable problem-solving skills? A supportive and well-regarded secondary school in Daventry is looking to appoint a committed Maths Teacher to join its successful Maths department from September 2026. The school would ideally like to appoint on a permanent basis, although fixed-term contracts or long-term supply opportunities will also be considered for the right candidate.

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Support students in developing confidence, fluency, and understanding in Maths
• Use a range of teaching strategies to support students of all abilities in Maths
• Work collaboratively within a supportive and well-organised Maths department
• Contribute to intervention sessions, enrichment activities, and extracurricular Maths opportunities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching secondary Maths
• Passion for making Maths accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for students
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning in Maths
• ECTs are encouraged to apply, with strong mentoring and induction support available
