About the role
Justteachers is recruiting a creative SEN Art Instructor for a specialist provision in Daventry. This full-time role starts ASAP and continues until December 2026. The position offers the opportunity to inspire pupils through expressive and therapeutic art activities that support confidence, creativity, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging art sessions tailored to individual needs
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and participation
- Adapt activities to support sensory and emotional needs
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Work alongside teachers and support staff to support pupil progress
- Experience working with children or young people in SEN settings
- Background in Art, Creative Therapy, or related field preferred
- Patient, flexible, and encouraging approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- Two references from a related field
