A leading global manufacturer within the engineering sector is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its high‑performing manufacturing operation in Daventry. Working within a specialist machining environment, you will become part of a dedicated breakdowns team responsible for maintaining a large range of CNC machine tools and production equipment.

Responsibilities- Reactive breakdown maintenance across a wide range of plant machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on CNC machine tools
- Mechanical maintenance including bearings, ball screws, lead screws, spindle checks and measurements
- Electrical fault finding and repair
- PLC fault finding on Siemens systems
- Fault diagnosis on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Supporting continuous improvement and machine reliability initiatives
- Working closely with production to minimise downtime
You will work on a variety of modern and legacy CNC machinery and operate with a range of CNC control systems and machinery from leading manufacturers.
Qualifications- Completed Engineering Apprenticeship (Maintenance Engineering or similar)
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
- Manufacturing or production environment experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
- Experience working on industrial plant machinery
- £44,000 Basic Salary
- £5,000 Shift Allowance
