TIG Welder

Pertemps are recruiting for a skilledTIG Welderto join our client who are a leading fabrication and engineering company. The person for the role will perform high-precision TIG welding on stainless steel and exotic alloys (like Inconel and Titanium). Material thickness ½ mm to 1.2mm The weld must look clean and pass strict quality inspections. Pay rate initially £18.54 rising to £19.15 per hour.

Days shift 7.30am to 4.30pmMonday to Thursday Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm

Key Responsibilities Precision Welding:

High-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and exotic metals. Purging:

Set up back-purging to ensure clean welds. Blueprint Reading:

Read engineering drawings and weld symbols. Metal Prep:

Clean, cut, and fit metal parts before welding. Quality Check:

Inspect welds for defects like cracks or gaps. Requirements

Experience:

2 years of TIG welding experience with exotic materials.

Skills:

Excellent hand-eye coordination and heat control. Testing:

Ability to pass a practical on-site welding test. Safety:

Deep understanding of workshop safety and PPE. The company offer a clean, modern and friendly working environment, staff social events, on site parking.
