Job Profile for Operations Manager - RF47165
Operations Manager required for an automotive small/medium component manufacturer based in Daventry. The ideal candidate will be based locally and have experience in a production environment as well as strong management skills.
Operations Manager Job Overview- Manage all manufacturing operations across welding, fabrication, assembly and warehouse functions.
- Ensure production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and to quality standards.
- Lead daily production meetings and coordinate activities across departments.
- Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Manage purchasing and material planning activities.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager role.
- Automotive experience.
- Experience with in fabrication, engineering or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and supply chain processes.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement training.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Salary: £45,000- £55,000
