You'll be working in a clean, modern and well-equipped workshop, alongside a supportive team where good workmanship is genuinely appreciated.

The Role
As a MIG / TIG Welder, you'll play an important part in producing high-quality fabricated and welded components.
This is a varied workshop-based role where you'll be working from engineering drawings and taking responsibility for producing work to the required quality and specification.
Key responsibilities include:
MIG and/or TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and weld symbols.
Setting welding equipment and selecting the correct consumables.
Fabricating components using cutting, grinding, fitting and tack welding techniques.
Ensuring welds meet the required quality and specification.
Inspecting completed work and identifying any issues.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Working as part of a close-knit production team to meet deadlines and production requirements.
Taking pride in producing consistent, high-quality workmanship.
About You
We're looking for an experienced MIG / TIG Welder who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working within a busy manufacturing environment.
You don't need to be looking for the next short-term contract - this is an opportunity to join a stable business where skilled people are valued and there is genuine scope to develop.
You will ideally have:
Previous MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
Experience working from engineering drawings and weld symbols.
A background within manufacturing, fabrication or engineering.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
A reliable and positive approach.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The following would be advantageous:
Experience welding aluminium and stainless steel.
Previous fabrication experience.
Experience working on varied or bespoke components.
Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications.
