The RoleAs a MIG / TIG Welder, you'll play an important part in producing high-quality fabricated and welded components.
This is a varied workshop-based role where you'll be working from engineering drawings and taking responsibility for producing work to the required quality and specification.
Key responsibilities- MIG and/or TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and weld symbols.
- Setting welding equipment and selecting the correct consumables.
- Fabricating components using cutting, grinding, fitting and tack welding techniques.
- Ensuring welds meet the required quality and specification.
- Inspecting completed work and identifying any issues.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Working as part of a close-knit production team to meet deadlines and production requirements.
- Taking pride in producing consistent, high-quality workmanship.
We're looking for an experienced MIG / TIG Welder who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working within a busy manufacturing environment.

You will ideally have- Previous MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
- Experience working from engineering drawings and weld symbols.
- A background within manufacturing, fabrication or engineering.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- A reliable and positive approach.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience welding aluminium and stainless steel.
- Previous fabrication experience.
- Experience working on varied or bespoke components.
- Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications.
