Job Title: SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) Operative
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Reports To: Shift Manager
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: Double Days – 06:00-13:45 – 13:30-21:15 rotating
Salary: £25,700

• Execute efficient press changeovers to meet daily SMED targets.
• Work safely and support site health, safety, and environmental objectives.
• Contribute to Lean improvements, particularly in SMED and yield
• Accurate information loading and analysis of Radius is key
• Support timely, cost-effective delivery of the print plan
• Support initiatives to reduce changeover times

• Experience in printing or manufacturing environments
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid problem-solving skills under pressure
• Team player with a safety-first mindset
• Comfortable following procedures and manuals
• Basic computer skills

• Previous experience in high-speed printing environments
• Experience working with Radius
• Exposure to short-run or fast-changeover production
