Impact Recruitment are working with a well-established, family-run manufacturing business to recruit a Production Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for handling materials, packing and labelling finished products, carrying out basic quality checks and maintaining a safe and organised production environment.

Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-3:00pm;
Friday, 7:30am-12:30pm

Location:

Daventry, Northamptonshire

Salary: £12.71 - £13.20 an hour

Contract:

Permanent

Responsibilities:

Handle raw materials, finished products and other materials safely.
Pack and label finished products accurately and efficiently.
Carry out manual handling and general production duties as required.
Follow production instructions, processes and company procedures.
Complete basic production records, paperwork and administrative tasks.
Carry out basic quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery following appropriate training.
Assist with stock movements and general site duties when required.
Report any hazards, incidents or equipment issues promptly.
Complete all required training and follow site-specific procedures.

Requirements:

Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
Reliable, hardworking and dependable approach to work.
Good attention to detail, particularly when packing, labelling and handling products.
Comfortable completing basic paperwork and production records.
Able to work safely and follow health and safety procedures.
Good organisational skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
Willingness to learn new processes and develop practical skills.
A valid forklift licence would also be advantageous.
