Assistant Manager - Busy Dining Pub & Restaurant - Royston

Our client is recruiting an Assistant Manager for their busy country dining pub and restaurant near Royston. This is an opportunity to develop your career and is a role suitable for someone with a management experience in a busy operation. The Pub is busy all year round and you will work the restaurant floor along with the bar, checking in guests and taking reservations.

The role is working Wednesday to Sunday each week with a 45 hour contract.

The Role

• Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and bar
• Performing duties in the absence of the General manager
• Training and development of junior staff members
• Managing the restaurant & bar. Taking bookings

The Person - Assistant Manager

• Outgoing and welcoming hospitality professional
• Stable work history showing progression
• Previous experience in a supervisory/management role
• Training experience an advantage
