This is a frontline adult social work role where you will see a mix of longer term work alongside more responsive activity, including safeguarding and managing risk.

What will you be doing?
Day to day, your work will centre around building a clear understanding of the people you support and working alongside them to achieve practical, realistic outcomes. You will manage your own caseload, balancing autonomy with knowing when to draw on the support and experience around you. Safeguarding, partnership working and applying legislation are an integral part of the role, but approached in a way that is measured and rooted in good practice.
You can expect to:
* Work directly with adults to understand their needs, strengths and what matters most to them
* Carry out assessments and develop support plans that are practical and outcome focused
* Be involved in safeguarding work, including managing risk and contributing to enquiries
* Build working relationships with families, carers and partner agencies
* Use legislation such as the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act in a considered, applied way
* Keep clear records that reflect your decision making and practice
* Play a part in the team, whether that’s sharing knowledge, supporting others or contributing to discussions### About youYou’ll be a qualified and experienced Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, with a strong commitment to delivering high quality adult social care. You’ll bring confidence in managing a varied and complex caseload, using your professional judgement to undertake timely assessments, develop effective support plans, and apply legislation such as the Care Act 2014 in your day to day practice.
You’ll be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and motivated by achieving positive, person centred outcomes for the people you practical terms, you will have:
* A Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
* Experience working with adults, including safeguarding
