Team Leader – Warehouse Operations

Location: Daventry
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 8:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our warehouse operation in Daventry. This is an ongoing position with the opportunity to become perm.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day warehouse operation, coordinating tasks, and ensuring returned stock is processed efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing held orders by scanning and managing returned stock
• Physically moving stock into the returns area and hand lanes
• Recording damaged items with the correct reason codes
• Creating returns manifests
• Labelling freight for dispatch
• Setting up the shift and coordinating daily workloads
• Coordinating tasks for the back‑office team
• Supporting the warehouse operation with manual handling and stock movement
• Assisting the wider operation during quieter periods

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong organisational and coordination skills
• Is proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Has excellent communication skills and is confident managing emails and liaising with colleagues
• Can prioritise multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Has previous experience in a warehouse team leader or supervisory role
• Is happy to undertake manual handling as part of the role

A forklift licence is not required
, but this is a hands‑on role that involves physically moving stock and supporting the wider warehouse operation when needed.
