** What's in it for you:
** Build, optimize, and tender daily shipment plans using the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) system for assigned manufacturing and distribution center facilities.

* What you will do:

*** Assign truckload shipments to designated carriers based on routing guides, cost parameters, and service requirements.
* Partner with site leaders and carrier operations to align daily shipment plans with available capacity, proactively communicate shipping updates and delays with internal and external stakeholders.
* Maximize trailer utilization by enforcing strict truckload consolidation and routing standards using available to plan inventory.
* Coordinate directly with customers to schedule deliveries and resolve real-time over the road exceptions dynamically.
* Act as the primary escalation point for carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve loading or delivery bottlenecks, operational escalations, and inventory inquiries.
* Continuously look for process improvement opportunities, using available resources and analytical skills to analyze data to develop and implement productivity initiatives.
* Consistently monitor logistics key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint network inefficiencies and support cross-functional projects aimed at driving system enhancements and operational improvements.
* Support other transportation planners as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.
** What you will bring:
*** Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or other related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
* Experience with transportation management systems preferred
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues
