The Assistant General Manager is responsible for effectively leading Sully’s Steamers Restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager.

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas, and supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues, and follow up with employees on assigned tasks.
• Monitor employee training during shift and develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.
• Respond to guests' complaints and turn dissatisfied guests into return guests, ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service.

• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).
• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, company policies and procedures, and personnel management.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
