Project Manager, Architect ​/ Sr. Architect, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Full-Time | Hybrid & Alternative Work Schedule | Exempt

HY Architects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Davis office. The Project Manager oversees architectural projects from inception through completion and is responsible for maintaining project quality, schedules, budgets, client relationships, and team coordination.

• Manage architectural projects through all phases of design, documentation, and construction.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and budgets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and coordinate with consultants and regulatory agencies.
• Lead project teams and delegate work while providing mentorship and oversight.
• Manage consultant deliverables and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Oversee construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, ASIs, NMAs, ACDs, site visits, and punch walks.
• Develop fee proposals and monitor project labor budgets and contract scope.
• Lead client and stakeholder presentations.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with HY standards.

• Typically 8+ years of relevant architectural experience
  .
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred.
• Architectural license preferred but not required.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
  .
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of architectural documentation, building systems, detailing, materials, and California building codes.
• Demonstrated experience managing project teams, schedules, budgets, consultants, client relationships, and construction administration.
