Position Overview
Salary range: $70,977 – $89,913 per year for a full‑time lecturer position (6 courses per year), commensurate with teaching experience.

It is anticipated there will be a need for Pre‑Six Lecturers to teach lower‑division courses in the Department of Physics and Astronomy during the 2025‑26 academic year. Appointments are subject to availability of funding and final approval by the Dean of the College of Letters & Sciences.
ResponsibilitiesDuties include teaching lower‑division physics and/or astronomy lecture courses and laboratories.
QualificationsBasic qualifications: M.S. in physics or physics‑related field required.
Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. in physics or physics‑related field strongly preferred; college and/or university teaching experience preferred.
