The lecturer will deliver high‑impact education, develop course materials, and advise students on career strategies. Teaching is primarily in‑person at the main campus; some weekend sections are taught at remote campuses in Sacramento and San Ramon. The appointment is part‑time, temporary, and renewable contingent on teaching needs and demonstrated excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Course development: develop and teach courses focused on industry trends, leadership, networking, and professional growth for undergraduate, Master’s, and MBA students; prepare assignments and design exams.
- Course delivery: foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment with practical exercises and projects; deliver lectures, grade assignments and exams, and hold outside‑class office hours.
- MGT 107 – Intermediate Financial Accounting III: examines accounting for pensions and leases, including statement of cash flows and footnote disclosures.
- MGT 400A – Financial Accounting: introduces concepts and objectives of financial statements, accounting cycle, measurement problems, and their usefulness in corporate analysis.
- ACC 203 – Intermediate Financial Reporting: focuses on preparing complex financial statements and covers recognition, measurement, disclosure, and theoretical foundations.
Basic qualifications
:
Master’s degree in a relevant field or 10 or more years of relevant work experience.
