The Department of History at the University of California, Davis, intends, pending administrative approval and funding, to make temporary appointments of lecturers for one or more courses in the following fields:
- Latin American History (Pending Funding)
- Asia/Middle East History (Pending Funding)
- European History (Pending Funding)
- United States History (Pending Funding)
- Other courses as needed
Preference will be given to candidates with the Ph.D., but those who have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. except the dissertation will be considered. Compensation is contingent upon qualifications and experience.
Applications are accepted on a continuous basis for future temporary openings. However, for first consideration for the 2025-26 academic year, please submit your application by July 1, 2025. Applicants internal to the UC Davis Department of History who had an appointment in and apply by the "Initial Review Date" of July 1, 2025 will be considered prior to all other applicants.
