We’re partnered with an industry leader in the utility‑scale solar digitization and automation space, who are currently going through some exciting growth in their IoT and are looking for an experienced Snr IoT R&D Engineer to join their team in Davis, CA.

The R&D Engineer will lead the design, development, and prototyping of IIoT products that provide critical infrastructure for construction automation in the solar sector. They will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop integrated hardware and software systems, define project scopes with the IoT Director, collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions, and provide technical mentorship to junior technicians and engineers.

• Demonstrable experience as a professional in the hardware product development space, preferably in a start‑up or R&D environment
• Hands‑on role focused on experimenting with new products/ideas—experience with RF, GPS, Vision (cameras, optics & lighting), and systems integration is valuable
• Strong understanding of fabrication technologies, power delivery systems, and electrical troubleshooting techniques
• Proficient CAD experience
• Broad/generalist background across the entire product development process; open to applicants from Solar, Construction, or Industrial domains
