The company has a total complement of over 900 highly trained and professional staff spread across the region and seeks to fill the position of Industrial Chemicals Support Specialist.
Job Summary:
The Industrial Chemicals Support Specialist will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and performance optimization for industrial utility systems including boilers, cooling towers, and chillers. This role involves field service, troubleshooting, customer training, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Role and Responsibilities;
- Conductroutinesitevisitstomonitorandoptimizechemicaltreatmentprogramsforboilers,cooling towers,and chillers.
- Performwatersampling,testing,andanalysistoassesssystemhealthandrecommendcorrectiveactions.
- Troubleshootsystemissuessuchasscaling,corrosion,microbiological growth,and fouling.
- Preparedetailedservicereports,treatment recommendations,andperformancesummaries.
- Traincustomerpersonnelonsafechemicalhandling,dosing procedures,andsystem
- Ensurecompliancewithlocalenvironmentalandsafetyregulations.
- Collaboratewithsalesandengineeringteamstosupportcustomerretentionandgrowth.
Requirements:
- Diplomaor Degreein Chemical Engineering ,Industrial Chemistry,Environmental Science,orrelatedfield.
- 2+yearsofexperienceinwatertreatmentorindustrialutilities(boilers,cooling towers,chillers).
- Strongknowledgeofwaterchemistry,corrosion control,andmicrobiologicalmanagement.
- Familiaritywithchemicaldosingsystemsandwatertestingequipment.
- Excellentcommunicationandcustomerserviceskills.
- Valid driver’slicenseandwillingnesstotravelfrequently.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Abilitytointerprettechnicaldataandgenerateactionableinsights.
- Safety-consciouswithknowledgeofchemicalhandlingprotocols.
- Certificationinwatertreatmentorboileroperations.
- Experiencewithautomatedcontrolsystemsandremotemonitoring.
