Hiring an Integration Technician in Davis, CA!
The Integration Technician II is responsible for ensuring proper system functionality in an ROV (remotely-operated vehicle) according to the engineering specifications for flawless delivery to the customer. The position requires collaboration and critical thinking to troubleshoot issues and anticipate complications. The candidate must demonstrate excellent process management skills to work effectively with peers and cross-functional teams.
Job Description- Perform highly complex mechanical, hydraulic, electro-mechanical and electrical assembly and disassembly.
- Perform highly complex testing and troubleshooting of high voltage using 3-6 kV equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, electro-mechanical and electrical devices and systems.
- Troubleshoot all systems to manufacturing and engineering specifications.
- Must be able to work from complex schematics, assembly blueprints, and/or verbal and written instructions, with minimal supervision.
- Prepare recommendations for improvements in methods or processes for improved productivity and quality.
- Collaborates with Design Engineers during prototype builds.
- Cross train in both Electrical and Mechanical Departments.
- Gain understanding of lean concepts by participating in Kaizen events and utilizing the principles to enhance the department and processes.
- Interface with promoting a positive image of SR and SR equipment during factory acceptance testing.
- Other applicable duties as assigned or required.
- Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical assembly, preferably of industrial products or equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical assembly experience.
- Require a high level of skills with a variety of hand tools and test equipment.
- Advanced ability to read, understand, and work from complex blueprints and schematics.
- Skilled in the use of basic test and measurement equipment (e.g., digital multi-meter, megohmmeter, etc.).
- Knowledge of general manufacturing standards.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Experience in troubleshooting networked systems (nodes, switches, etc.)
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical systems.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to perform repetitive motions; to sit, talk and/or hear.
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Required to work on concrete floors, walking and standing for long hours.
- Ability to work at various heights with fall protection.
- Wear steel toe shoes, safety glasses and other personal protective equipment as needed in safety zone areas.
Hourly Wage: $27.67/hour - $34.50/hour
