Position descriptionWe are recruiting two postdoctoral scholars for an interdisciplinary NSF-funded research project focused on enhancing collective creativity and intelligence through large-scale online behavioral experiments. Candidates should have strong quantitative and computational training in behavioral, cognitive, or social sciences, or be computer/information scientists interested in human behavior. The positions are based at UC Davis and Cornell University, working with leading investigators in the field.
The successful applicant will have:
- Excellent research track record.
- Strong programming skills.
- Experience with computational and statistical methods.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Clear alignment with career goals.
Preferred but not required skills include experience with online behavioral experiments, social/cognitive modeling, familiarity with relevant literatures, AI/ML experience, game design, and willingness to take research risks.
