Position DescriptionResearch involving biosensors, biomaterials, electronics, and human‑computer interaction to develop new device form factors. The postdoctoral researcher will design and fabricate sensing systems, contribute to ongoing and emerging lab projects, and support dissemination through publications, exhibitions, and conference submissions.
Applicants should have experience with colorimetric, fluorescence, or electrochemical biosensing; body‑compatible or bio‑based materials; and prototyping methods relevant to wearable or body‑adjacent technologies.
Responsibilities- Design and fabricate sensing systems for biosensing research.
- Contribute to lab projects and help advance emerging research directions.
- Support dissemination through publications, exhibitions, and conference submissions.
- Assist in mentoring student teams (preferred).
- PhD in Design, Engineering, HCI, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Record of research productivity in biosensing, biomaterials, electronics, or related areas.
- Preferred experience mentoring student teams.
- Anticipated start date:
January 2026.
