Yolo Cares is a nonprofit healthcare agency dedicated to delivering exceptional care to every patient and family, every time. Rooted in the principles of goodness and compassion, we have proudly served our community for over 45 years, offering a range of vital services including hospice, palliative care, caregiver support, companionship for seniors, and grief support. Within our organization, the Citizens Who Care volunteer department embodies our commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals navigating difficult circumstances.
- Visiting Clients & Patients – Provide companionship and emotional support to those in hospice and palliative care.
- Delivering Flowers to Patients – Brighten a patient’s day with a simple yet meaningful act of kindness.
- Medical Records Assistance – Help our medical records team with important documentation and organizational tasks.
- Administrative Support – Assist with office tasks that keep Yolo Cares running smoothly.
- Facility Enrichment Activities – Engage seniors and patients with music, art, or recreational activities.

We ask for a 6-month to 1-year commitment to ensure consistency and meaningful engagement with those we serve.
