Your Role
First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools, is seeking to recruit an Out of School Club Playworker at Gatehouse Primary Academy.
Gatehouse Primary is a large coastal school situated on the edge of the town of Dawlish just 500 meters away from the beach and are fortunate enough to have an enviable amount of outside space.
This role is for 8 hours per week, term time only until 31 August 2027.

Skills Abilities, Skills and Knowledge- Awareness of school policies and procedures relating to Child Protection, Health & Safety and Data Protection essential
- Able to promote inclusion of all pupils essential
- Able to be an effective role model for the standards of behaviour expected of children essential
- Experience of working with children/young people essential
- Experience in managing pastoral needs of all pupils and successfully applying the school behaviour policy essential
- Be a team player, resilient and adaptability. essential
- Able to manage children with SEND and work effectively with them essential
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team essential
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues essential
- Current first aid certificate
