QHSE Manager

£55,000 DOE + Car Allowance | Office & Site-Based | Dawlish (with UK-wide travel)

An established and growing organisation operating within the marine and civil engineering sectors, delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK. Backed by ongoing investment, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and development, with a strong focus on enhancing its quality, health, safety and environmental standards across a diverse project portfolio.

This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced QHSE Manager to influence and shape safety culture across a multi‑site operation. Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you will take ownership of QHSE strategy and delivery, balancing hands‑on site engagement with strategic oversight to drive continuous improvement and best practice.

• Lead and manage QHSE activities across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments to maintain and improve operational performance
• Partner with site teams and leadership to embed a proactive, positive safety culture
• Develop, implement and continuously improve QHSE systems, policies and procedures

• Proven experience in a QHSE role within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure environments
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation, including ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
• NEBOSH qualification (essential), with IOSH or environmental certifications desirable
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, from site teams to senior leadership
